ICC World XI v Windies one-off T20 match on May 31 at the Iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground in St John’s Wood, London; the match starts at 05:00 PM GMT. The International Cricket Council (ICC) granted the fixture international status, the ICC named Eoin Morgan as the captain of the World XI side and Carlos Brathwaite will lead Carribean side. Shakib Al Hasan was initially named in the Rest of the World team but withdrew for personal reasons, the wrist spinner Sandeep Lamichhane added to the ICC World XI in place of Shakib.
The West Indies cricket team is scheduled to play a Twenty20 International (Hurricane Relief T20 Challenge) against a Rest of the World XI team in England on 31 May 2018, to raise funds for stadiums damaged by Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Maria in September 2017. The grounds that were damaged were:
