- 2 point per team taking part in any match with no result and any match which is tied (super over not possible or super over also tied)
- 0 points awarded for any match lost
The Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2018 is the 9th edition of the domestic Twenty20 cricket tournament in India. Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 League Trophy 2018 is scheduled to be held from January 21 to January 29, 2018.
BCCI launched its own state structure in the 2006-07 season with 27 Ranji teams divided into five Zones with the name of Inter-State T20 Championship which was renamed and relaunched as the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
