Shpageeza Cricket League 2020 features 19 matches (Fifteen league matches, Two Qualifier, Eliminator and final). The Shpageeza Cricket League scheduled to be held from September 06 to September 16 at Alokozay Kabul International Cricket Ground in Afghanistan. In order to avoid the clash with the much-awaited Indian Premier League (IPL), the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has decided to prepone the Shpageeza Cricket League to September 6. It will allow the players having IPL commitment to be part of this T20 league as well.
SCL – Shpageeza Cricket League 2020 is Afghanistan’s annual domestic T20 Tournament Sponsored by Alokozay Group but last year the competition not organised due to some reasons. Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) organizes Shpageeza Cricket Tournament every year in Alokozay Kabul International Cricket Stadium. ACB established the Shpageeza tournament with six franchises, players from overseas, the national team, players from the ‘A’ team and players from the under 19 team as well as players from the elite performer from the respective region participate in this tournament.

RTA (Radio Television Afghanistan) has secured the broadcasting rights for the upcoming sixth season of Shpageeza Cricket League. National Radio and Television of Afghanistan (RTA) is the public-broadcasting organization of Afghanistan, based in Kabul. This governmental organ has a national television station (Afghanistan National Television) and a radio station (Radio Afghanistan) as well as news media. The games will be broadcasted live on RTA TV, radio, and social media platforms.

Mr. Ismail Miakhail, Director-General of RTA (Radio Television Afghanistan), has signed an agreement with ACB CEO Lutfullah Stanikzai for the upcoming sixth season of the Shpageeza Cricket League. RTA secured the broadcasting rights for the competition.
