Hong Kong T20 Blitz 2017 Draft set for Saturday January 07, Auction Date Announced
90+ domestic cricketers are up for selection in the Hong Kong T20 Blitz domestic player draft to be held on Saturday January 07. Hong Kong T20 Blitz Auction streamed LIVE on Hong Kong’s Facebook page.
Each franchise selected their three retained players, and with squads of 15 containing up to five overseas players, it is expected around 35 of the 94 players nominated will be selected in the draft.
Each franchise is required to select at least one player from Hong Kong’s Chinese representative squad, the Dragons.

Hong Kong T20 Blitz is a Twenty20 franchise cricket tournament scheduled to hold its second edition from March 8-12 in 2017. The tournament has extended to a five-team competition from the inaugural four with the event held over five days at Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground in Mong Kok.
