ACC Eastern Region T20 2020 is scheduled to take place from February 29 to March 06, 2020p, in Bangkok, Thailand, and will act as the first qualifying stage for the 2020 Asia Cup. The competition will be the first official men’s T20I (T20 International) tournament to be played in Thailand. China was forced to withdraw due to the coronavirus, Bhutan and Myanmar were also included in the schedule, but later withdrew. The four-team Asia Cup Qualifier is scheduled to be held in Kuala Lumpur in August 2020. Kuwait and the UAE from the Western Region group are qualified for the Asia Cup Qualifier 2020.
