South African side will head to Ireland after West Indies series to play three matches one-day international and three matches T20 International series. The Ireland and South Africa series (Dafanews cup) will be played at The Village in Dublin and Civil Service Cricket Club in Belfast, this will be first face-off between these two sides in the twenty20 cricket while in one-day cricket they will come face to face after 5 years.
South Africa and Ireland never played one-day match since September 2016, in the last outing, Africa beaten them by a big margin of 206 runs. Ireland’s Neil Rock has tested positive for COVID-19, and Stephen Doheny called up as a replacement. The three-match ODI series is part of the ICC World Cup Super League.
