Star India newly launched “Star Sports Tamil” broadcast TNPL 2017 all matches. Star India is the official broadcaster of TNPL – Tamil Nadu Premier League T20 2017, Star India has bagged a five-year broadcast rights for the TNPL – Tamil Nadu Premier League.

88 outstation players applied for TNPL draft, a maximum of 24 will get picked. Each franchise can have three outstation players, out of which two can feature in the playing eleven.
BCCI didn’t grant permission for the outstation stars to feature in Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) inaugural edition of the last year.
The maximum price for capped outstation players will be Rs 5 lakhs whereas those players who have represented their state in d0mestic matches will get Rs 2.5 lakh rupees.
37 players who were released by franchisees last year and fresh players who are interested to participate in the draft can register themselves.
Draft Date: June 23, 2017
Separate draft for outstation players is expected to take place on June 30 or July 1.
