New Zealand ICC Women’s World Cup 2017 Team Squad, NZW WWC 2017 Players

Suzie Bates, who last year became the first player to win both the ICC ODI and T20 player of the year awards, will captain the side at her third World Cup.

New Zealand have selected a 16-year old legspinner Amelia Kerr to be a part of their 15-member squad for the upcoming Women’s World Cup that will take place in England from 24 June to 23 July 2017.

New Zealand captain Suzie Bates said: “It’s going to be the most competitive World Cup ever. We know we’ll have to be on the ball from game one if we want to earn the right to contest the finals and maybe get to that big final game at the Home of Cricket.

Third ranked New Zealand, who were the champions in 2000, will face Sri Lanka for their first match.

The ICC Women’s World Cup 2017 will be in England 24 June – 23 July with 31 matches across 5 venues including the final at Lord’s.

2017 Women’s Cricket World Cup will be the eleventh edition of the Women’s Cricket World Cup. Eight teams participate in the tournament.
